World of Warcraft: Midnight 12.1.5 patch revealed
World of Warcraft: Midnight’s upcoming patch (12.1.5), The Promise of Tomorrow, is now available for testing on the Public Test Realm (PTR), with a release date unconfirmed. The patch continues the aftermath of Ula’tek’s defeat, as Quel’thalas and Zul’Aman attempt to maintain an uneasy alliance against an ancient threat. Interested users can join the World of Warcraft PTR by creating a free test account on their Blizzard profile and downloading the test client through the Battle.net desktop application.
Highlights of the patch include "The Unbinding of Kith’ix," a single-boss raid in which players fight alongside Lady Liadrin. "Labyrinths" is an extended Delve format Blizzard likens to mega-dungeons: sessions can be split across multiple visits rather than finished in one sitting, with dedicated progression tied to unlocks and rewards. The first Labyrinth, Kindo’jan, is an ancient Amani funeral complex, with Valeera Sanguinar serving as the companion.
Meanwhile, "Aqir Invasions" will provide recurring outdoor events in Eversong and Zul’Aman. They occur hourly and last 10 minutes, combining six scenario types with combat modifiers before culminating in a boss encounter. Altogether, patch 12.1.5 provides story progression, group-based challenges and additional side quests/other playable modes. Given the absent release date, however, much remains provisional until Blizzard confirms further details, possibly around BlizzCon 2026.
