BlizzCon is a gaming convention organized by Blizzard Entertainment. The multi-day event which first began in 2025 is usually packed with announcements and fun activities for fans. Despite being an annual event, it hasn't been held six times (2006, 2012, 2020, 2022, 2024, and 2025). Now, it has been announced that BlizzCon will return in 2026.
Now owned by Microsoft, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the next BlizzCon is scheduled to hold on September 12 and September 13, 2026. The venue is the Anaheim Convention Center which has been the home of the convention for many years.
Blizzard hasn't revealed what it has planned for its next BlizzCon but there are rumors flying around such as updates to Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 as well as a new add-on for World of Warcraft. The official press release says that staples like Opening Ceremony, in-depth panels, Darkmoon Faire, hands-on gameplay
will return.
There's also no info on pricing yet but interested fans can sign up to be notified. The last BlizzCon event saw tickets sell for $299, a $70 increase compared to 2019, so there's a chance fans will pay more for BlizzCon 2026. The $799 Portal Pass may also get a price bump.
