During the February 28 YouTube reveal, gamers expect to learn the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 prices. AMD may also showcase some of the latest titles that realize the potential of RDNA 4 architecture. FSR 4 is an AI upscaling technology that hopes to rival Nvidia's DLSS 4. However, unlike DLSS 4, its benefits are exclusive to AMD's new GPUs. Game compatibility is also critical, and VideoCardz has published an updated list of more than 30 titles that will support FSR 4.
It's worth mentioning that the list of games isn't set in stone. Also, not every title may be compatible with FSR 4 right at the launch of the RX 9070 series. However, several notable games are expected to benefit from AMD's frame generation technology. Capcom's new release is particularly noteworthy, especially with the performance issues raised during the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta.
Also on the list is Marvel Rivals, which generally runs decently on less powerful PCs. Still, not all players are satisfied with the optimization in the Unreal Engine 5 hero shooter. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Civilization 7 are other high-profile games that AMD may use to demonstrate FSR 4. Previous reports suggested that over 75 titles will support its features by the end of 2025.
Early FSR 4 footage shows that it upscales without as many artifacts or loss in graphical fidelity. That can help FidelityFX Super Resolution close the gap with Nvidia's DLSS 4, but requiring an RDNA 4 GPU limits its appeal. On the other hand, current games using FSR 3.1 can be easily upgraded to FSR 4.
Gamers also hope that the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT offer more horsepower for their prices than the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. Nvidia's Blackwell cards heavily depend on DLSS 4 for gains over the RTX 40 series. FSR 4 game support will also matter little if the RDNA 4 cards are rarely in stock.
