Retroid Pocket Duo full reveal shows it is a fusion of the Pocket Flip 2 and Pocket Nova

Following a teaser revealing the name and an obscured look at its upcoming dual-screen handheld, Retroid has now shared an image that shows what the device looks like. Based on the image, the Retroid Pocket Duo seems to be a fusion of the Pocket Flip 2 and the Pocket Nova.
The Retroid Pocket Duo is shown in black, but there's a possibility it won't be the only available color when it launches. Just like the initial teaser image and video, the top of the dual-screen clamshell handheld has rounded corners and the bezels on the sides are significantly thicker. When compared to the Ayn Thor, Ayn's handheld has a smaller radius and its bezels look slightly slimmer.
Retroid is also differentiating the Pocket Duo from the Ayn Thor by going with recessed symmetrical thumbsticks or D-pad-on-top, whereas the Thor has its D-pad below the left thumbstick. It is not known if Retroid will offer other layouts, but there are fans who have expressed their desire for a layout akin to the AYN Thor. There are also a few requests for a layout similar to that of the Pocket Flip 2 which also has symmetrical thumbsticks but which sit above the D-pad and action buttons.
The Retroid Pocket Duo will feature dual OLED displays that refresh at 120Hz. The upper display will have a 16:9 aspect ratio like the Pocket Flip 2 while the bottom screen has a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Pocket Nova. Although the size of the displays have not yet been revealed, it is clear that Retroid's new handheld is a fusion of the Pocket Flip 2 (available on Amazon for $269) and the Pocket Nova.
The image also shows that the Retroid Pocket Duo will have its power and volume buttons at the bottom, which seems like an uncomfortable position. It also has its MicroSD card slot, audio jack, and USB-C port at the bottom, which leaves both sides bare, while the corners are home to lanyard holes.
Now that we know what the Retroid Pocket Duo looks like, what remains is the spec sheet and price.
