High-end iQOO tablet launch window officially confirmed

iQOO previously teased an upcoming compact tablet without revealing its name. A subsequent leak suggested that it would be called the Pad Ultra. Now, iQOO has officially confirmed the name and launch window of the tablet.
In a post on Weibo, iQOO flagship-series product manager Wang Kan confirmed that the iQOO Pad Ultra will launch alongside the iQOO 16 at the end of September 2026. This launch timeline is specific to China, and there is currently no information about global availability of the devices.
The official teaser poster provides a partial look at the tablet’s rear camera housing. Wang described the Pad Ultra as a gaming-focused tablet with a compact form factor. He also said that the tablet will feature a next-generation flagship chipset and a cooling system, without specifying the details.
Leaked details of the iQOO Pad Ultra
A recent leak revealed that the iQOO Pad Ultra may feature an 8.8-inch OLED display with a centered hole-punch camera and narrow bezels on all four sides. It is also tipped to have a built-in cooling fan.
The tablet is reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset based on a 2nm process, referred to in leaks as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Additionally, the tablet is expected to pack a 9000mAh-class battery (25K Anker powerbank curr. $104.99 on Amazon). The Pad Ultra is said to come in black and silver color options.
