LG has released a new 25-inch gaming monitor internationally. Now available in the EU and the UK, the UltraGear 25G590B combines a 1,000 Hz refresh rate with 400 nits peak brightness and USB Type-C connectivity.

Over a month has passed since LG first released the UltraGear 25G590B. Announced in May, the UltraGear 25G590B is the first gaming monitor to natively run at 1,000 Hz and 1080p. As we discussed at the end of July, the 24.5-inch monitor was initially only available in the US (curr. $999 on Amazon).

However, LG has now started selling the UltraGear 25G590B in Europe. Specifically, the new monitor is available to purchase in countries like Germany and the UK. Moreover, LG has revealed that the monitor will soon be sold in Canada and France, too.

For context, the UltraGear 25G590B leverages an IPS panel, which also boasts 1 ms GtG response times, 99% sRGB colour space coverage, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 400 nits peak brightness. Furthermore, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync technologies to mitigate image tearing at high frame rates.

Also, the UltraGear 25G590B can be overclocked to 1,100 Hz. As the image above shows, the monitor contains dual HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 2.1 connection, USB Type-C and a 4-pole headphone jack. LG charges €999 for the UltraGear 25G590B in the Eurozone and £899.98 in the UK.
