Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Xiaomi 15T series will land globally on September 24. For the time being, the company has only confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi 15T Pro rather than the rumoured Xiaomi 15T as well. Nonetheless, recent leaks indicate that the series will only consist of Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $609 on Amazon) successors rather than a mysterious third model.
In the meantime, leaks and rumours have focused on the features of the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. Additionally, a recent leak highlighted that the latter may retail for more than expected in some Eurozone member states by virtue of Xiaomi dropping the entry-level 256 GB option from previous models. Potentially, September 24's launch event could contain more than just the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, though.
As Huawei Central has observed, Xiaomi has now teased that HyperOS will be one of the 'big surprises' showcased later this month. Retweeting the Xiaomi 15T series launch event confirmation, the Xiaomi HyperOS account appears to be implying that Xiaomi plans to use the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro as vessels for showcasing HyperOS 3 globally, too.
For the time being, Xiaomi has only introduced HyperOS 3 in China, where a few recent flagships can already acquire Beta Program access. Currently, Xiaomi hopes to expand its HyperOS 3 Beta Program to another dozen or so devices before the end of the month, though. For reference, around half a dozen Poco, Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones now appear to be ineligible for HyperOS 3 globally.
