Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro launching later this month globally after leaking in full

Xiaomi has now delivered the first peek at its long-awaited successors to the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $609 on Amazon). To recap, the company introduced those pair globally on September 26, 2024 after releasing the Xiaomi 13T series exactly a year before.

This time, the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 15T series will be arriving on September 24. For the time being, Xiaomi has not confirmed how many series members exist. Instead, it has revealed the existence of the Xiaomi 15T Pro through the tweet we have embedded below. Not only that, but the same tweet implies that the Xiaomi 15T Pro features a periscope telephoto camera capable of shooting at 5x or 115 mm optical zoom, assuming a 23 mm equivalent focal length.

With that being said, recent leaks have identified that the Xiaomi 15T Pro will be joined by the cheaper Xiaomi 15T. On top of that, the pair are expected to start at €799 and €649, respectively, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Full rumoured specifications for both smartphones can be found in the table below. In short, Xiaomi will distinguish the Xiaomi 15T Pro from its cheaper sibling with a faster display, a more powerful chipset and superior camera hardware.
