The Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9 Plus (curr. $209 on Amazon) are now nearing their second birthday after being released in October 2023. Earlier this month, leakers claimed to have discovered information about a successor to the former.
However, neither Abhishek Yadav nor Sudhanshu Ambhore believed that Samsung would replace the Galaxy Tab A9 with the Galaxy Tab A10. Instead, the pair asserted that Samsung's next budget tablet would launch under the Galaxy Tab A11 series, presumably given the 'GTA11' model number shown in a Geekbench leak.
Now, the alleged Galaxy Tab A11 Plus has turned up on the same benchmarking platform in two listings. Benchmarked as the SM-X236B with the motherboard 'GTA11P', the tablet contains an octa-core chipset split into two equal clusters. While that description applies to many mobile chipsets, 'ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3393 revision 0' identifies the chipset as the Dimensity 7300 or Dimensity 7300X, also found inside devices like the Motorola Razr 50 and Poco X7.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus features 6 GB of RAM and runs Android 16 based on One UI 8. Incidentally, an alleged image showing the smaller Galaxy Tab A11 has turned up on X. Bearing the same SM-X135 root model number as its recent Geekbench leak, the Galaxy Tab A11 has a relatively plain design and appears set to start with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Presumably, the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus will have the same overarching design as its smaller sibling. A launch date for either tablet has not emerged yet, though.
