While Lenovo has yet to launch its next-gen Legion gaming tablet in the global market, it has showcased two new tablets at IFA 2025, and the updated Idea Tab Plus is one of them. It's a 12.1-inch pad that's said to feature a lightweight and portable design.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus sports the Dimensity 6400. It's a new mid-range SoC from MediaTek that brings a small upgrade over the 6300 from last year. This chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There's a microSD card slot, which will allow users to expand the storage further.
On the front, the Idea Tab Plus comes with a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo claims that the panel can cover 96% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a brightness rating of 800 nits in the HBM mode.
Camera-wise, this new Lenovo tablet comes with a 13 MP camera on the back, and the front sports an 8 MP selfie shooter. A 10,200 mAh battery powers the internals of the Idea Tab Plus, and it has support for 45 W fast charging (Baseus PicoGo 67 W fast charger curr. $25.98 on Amazon).
The company further notes that the tablet has a 4-speaker setup that's tuned by Dolby Atmos. There's Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification, and the Idea Tab Plus has a 2-microphone setup for voice input.
Other highlights of the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for accessories through the pogo pin. The tablet will be available from October 2025 in both WiFi and 5G variants, and the starting price will be $269.99.
