HP releases new 14-inch laptop with 1,100-nit OLED display and 32 GB RAM

HP has quietly expanded options for one of its latest 14-inch laptops. To recap, the company introduced the OmniBook 5 14 in mid-September featuring Intel Wildcat Lake processors. Less than two weeks later, HP returned with a similar laptop sporting an updated design to replace the Snapdragon X-powered model we reviewed in 2025 (curr. $979 on Amazon).
As we discussed in September, the OmniBook 5 (14t-kf000) combined a Core 7 350 processor with 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a 1200p OLED display. By contrast, the laptop can now be configured with either the Core 5 320 or Core 7 350, which are separated by about 8% in our benchmarks. For some reason, only the Core 5 320 can be configured with 32 GB of RAM, though.

Setting that aside, HP's default 1200p OLED display can be swapped for an 1800p alternative. Resolving at 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, this higher resolution panel also boasts a 120 Hz variable refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness in SDR mode. Moreover, HP claims that the panel reaches 1,100 nits when viewing HDR content.
Also, one can select 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage at checkout, as well as Bluetooth 5.4/Wi-Fi 6 or Bluetooth 6.0/Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Pricing starts at $1,299 but rises to $1,949 when optioning 32 GB of RAM, an 1800p OLED display, 1 TB of storage and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. On top of that, HP charges $20 and $40 extra for Starlit Blue and Sahara Silver finishes, respectively, compared to the stock Glacier Silver option. Please see HP's website for more details.
