The launch of the Pixel 10 series is still anticipated to be a while off yet. While Google has not officially confirmed anything yet, various sources have suggested that the company plans to replace the Pixel 9 (curr. $599 on Amazon) on August 20 alongside its more expensive peers.
However, there were reports that Google had been forced to delay the arrival of the Pixel 10 series by a week after leaks initially suggested an August 13 debut was on the cards. Nonetheless, Google had teased that it would be hosting a new Pixel Superfans event in the meantime.
Apparently, Google has now postponed this event too. According to Android Authority, the company has now issued the following statement to Pixel Superfans who were selected to attend its June event:
While we’re no longer able to extend invitations to the Pixel Penthouse event due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re excited to offer you an exclusive alternative prize: an early invitation to our next event, Pixel Superfans Insider Event, on September 4th.
Currently, Google is rumoured to have developed not just the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, but also the Pixel 10 Pro XL and a new foldable. It looks like fourth-generation Pixel Watch smartwatches could also be in attendance in two sizes again. There have been no suggestions that a new Pixel Tablet is on the cards at this stage.
