The launch of Xiaomi's next Poco F series smartphone appears to be right around the corner. For now at least, the company is remaining unusually coy about what it has in store beyond a new Poco F smartphone. Its increasing number of teasers are giving more and more clues away that the Poco F7 will soon be upon us, though.
For instance, it has confirmed that the device will launch with the largest battery of any smartphone sold in India. As it stands, that crown is currently held by the Vivo T4 5G and its 7,300 mAh capacity. However, Xiaomi has now confirmed that its next Poco F series smartphone will reach 7,550 mAh.
In other words, the device will have a significantly larger battery than the Poco F7 Pro (curr. $599.99 on Amazon), which delivers up to 6,000 mAh out of the box. By that same token, the Poco F7 will feature a 42% higher battery capacity than the Poco F7 Ultra. If that sounds familiar, then that is because the Poco F7 is expected to be re-branded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Unfortunately, evidence suggests that Xiaomi will only extend this 7,550 mAh battery to India. By contrast, Xiaomi may limit global variants to a mere 6,500 mAh instead.
