The Oppo Find X8 series competed against the Vivo X200 line in terms of being early Dimensity 9400 adopters and in terms of having round central camera humps with high-end hardware.
Their successors are thought to vie once again with Vivo's X300-series smartphones to be the world's first Dimensity 9500 devices - although they might move on in terms of looks, according to the typically accurate leaker Digital Chat Station.
The tipster now hints that the Find X9 series might move on to corner-mounted cameras, possibly like those of the new OnePlus 13s (or, indeed, Vivo S30 Pro Mini).
The devices might have up-to-date flat screens, like their predecessors - although their bezels might be even smaller thanks to cutting-edge LIPO technology.
Then again, the new rumor refers to 2 devices in 2 different sizes, like the Find X9 and X9 Pro, even though the series is also thought to include a Plus variant.
It will be interesting to see if the design upgrade also pertains to the top-end Find X9 Ultra, which might debut later with the even higher-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 silicon.
