In recent years, Oppo's flagship mobile phones have established themselves as some of the most powerful camera phones in the industry. This is especially true when it comes to the "Ultra" variants. Well, a recent leak suggests that the Oppo Find X9 lineup will follow this same path but will take things to a new level in terms of camera quality (especially zoom power).
For starters, according to reliable Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X9 series is set to feature the next-gen MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC for snappy experience across the board. It's possible that, unlike the Find X8 series, where the "Ultra" model uses a Snapdragon flagship SoC, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could also adopt Dimensity hardware.
50MP + 200MP dual-periscope cameras for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra
If you're a fan of optical zoom, you'll love the potential camera improvements of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. It looks like the company is testing a prototype with 50MP and 200MP dual-periscope lenses. More specifically, we are talking about Samsung's ISOCELL JN5 and ISOCELL HP5. For reference, the current Find X8 Ultra has two 50MP periscope sensors. That said, the leak notes that the final sensors for the production model haven't been officially decided yet.
Another interesting possibility is the integration of the Find X8 Ultra's spectral image sensor into the more affordable Find X9 Pro or even the vanilla Find X9 variants. This piece of hardware is useful for enhancing color accuracy and skin tone representation.
While these are leaks and not official confirmations, the picture being painted for the Oppo Find X9 series is one of powerful performance and seriously impressive camera capabilities spread across the entire lineup. Let's hope more leaks about these upcoming impressive smartphones emerge soon.
