Oppo Find N6: Potential OnePlus Open 2 early details leaked

The Oppo Find N5 is a flagship foldable smartphone released in February 2025. The key highlight of the Find N5 is its slim profile. It is currently the slimmest book-style foldable smartphone, measuring 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm in its folded state. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 measures 5.6mm and 12.1mm, respectively.

A new report has emerged on the Chinese social media site Weibo. According to the report, Oppo has already started the development of the Oppo Find N6. Like the Find N5, the Oppo Find N6 is expected to maintain a lightweight and slim design. Additionally, it is said to be powered by the next-gen flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor.

The report claims it will be released in the first quarter of 2026. It is not clear if it will be rebranded as a OnePlus phone for markets outside China. However, a rebrand could make sense, especially if the company aims to target the US, where OnePlus already has an established presence compared to Oppo. For those unaware, the Oppo Find N3, which was the predecessor to the Find N5, was rebranded as the OnePlus Open for broader international availability. Hence, there’s a chance the Find N6 could debut as the OnePlus Open 2.

Meanwhile, the foldable smartphone market is expected to welcome the Magic V5 series in June. Moreover, Samsung is expected to release its next-gen foldable lineup in July, comprising three models: the Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, and a more affordable Flip7 FE.
