The range of network storage devices is already quite extensive, and a new network storage device, the ZP4+ Pro, has now been launched. The model is already available in China and costs at least around $375, according to a media report. Although a global launch is not certain, a direct import may well become possible at some point in the future.
The Z4Pro+ comes with either an Intel N150 or Intel Core 3 N355, and either 8 or 16 GB RAM. Six individual mounting bays are available for mass storage. Specifically, up to four storage devices in 3.5- or 2.5-inch format and up to two M.2 SSDs can be installed. A maximum data storage capacity of 136 TB is advertised.
The operating system is advertised with a wide range of functions, with a focus on the use of AI functions. Photos can be intelligently analyzed, text recognition in photos is supported and faces can also be recognized. A media player is integrated, allowing media content to be directly output from the network storage. Two Ethernet ports with a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 GBit/s are on board. A HDMI 2.1 port allows for direct image output, while external storage media can also be connected via USB 3.2 Gen 2 in both type A and type C.
