Dimensity 9400-equipped Vivo X200 series set to officially step outside China soon
Vivo's X200 series brought three of the first flagship phones with the Dimensity 9400. This lineup currently consists of three phones: a standard, a Pro, and a Pro mini, and the first two are now set to step outside China on November 19. More specifically, they are now confirmed to land in the Malaysian market on the said date.
It's unclear whether these phones will also be available in other markets during the same time frame, but the Vivo X200 series is expected to make a proper global debut on November 22. Another thing worth noting is that there's a chance that the X200 Pro mini may stay exclusive to the Chinese market, as it hasn't been announced for Malaysia.
As for the phones themselves, both the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro packs the newly launched Dimensity 9400. They also come with an LTPO display that features a 120 Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits of peak brightness rating, and HDR10+ support. Of course, the non-Pro model is a bit smaller, coming in at 6.67 inches instead of 6.78 inches.
However, that's not the only difference between the two. The Pro variant also comes with a better camera setup, with a 50 MP primary, 200 MP periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultra. While the primary and ultrawide remain pretty much the same on the standard Vivo X200, it has a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
Vivo hasn't shared the global pricing details yet, but the X200 launched with a starting price of CNY 4,300 (about $594), while the X200 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (around $733) in China.
