OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R global launch details leak with no 24 GB RAM variants
OnePlus may have released its latest flagship in China. However, it has not commented on international availability just yet. Based on recent leaks, the company is also preparing to replace the OnePlus 12R (curr. $499.99 on Amazon), which joined the OnePlus 12 earlier this year as part of a global launch.
In the meantime, leaker Arsène Lupin has provided a few insights into the state of the pair's international releases courtesy of their latest X (formerly Twitter) post. Allegedly, OnePlus plans to sell its latest flagship globally in the same colour options it offers in China. Thus, the OnePlus 13 should land outside OnePlus' home market in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse and Midnight Ocean, albeit with some caveats.
For instance, Lupin reports that Black Eclipse will be tied to the device's 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage tier. By contrast, there should be Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse and Midnight Ocean options to choose from when configuring the OnePlus 13 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
In other words, it looks as though the range-topping 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage variant will be a Chinese exclusive. Meanwhile, Lupin asserts that OnePlus will limit the OnePlus 13R to Astral Trail and Nebula Noir colour options but only a 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage configuration. Unfortunately, the leaker has not yet shared a precise launch date. Instead, they have merely remarked that the pair will be available globally soon.
