Alongside the Find X8 Ultra, Oppo has officially introduced the Find X8s series in China, which brings two new phones that are powered by the Dimensity 9400+. While none of them are official for global release yet, just recently, Giztop made the Find X8 Ultra available to global buyers, and now, the storefront has brought the new Dimensity 9400+ devices.
But of course, for those who are interested in importing the Find X8s or Find X8s+, there are some caveats to consider. For example, because these phones are Chinese editions, not all apps may work or run as they should. Android Auto, for instance, is known not to work out of the box on most smartphones in the China region. Fortunately, Giztop assures the full functionality of the Google Play Store and Google Mobile Service.
As for the prices, the Find X8s on Giztop starts at $789, while the base configuration of the X8s+ costs $839. These are pretty hefty jumps from the CNY 4,199 Chinese launch prices for both these Dimensity 9400+ flagship phones, which convert to around $574.
Regarding the phones, the Find X8s and Find X8s+ are both powered by the Dimensity 9400+, and they feature up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The front of the devices have 6.32-inch and 6.59-inch AMOLED displays, respectively, with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Both also feature a nearly identical triple 50 MP camera setup on the back, an IP68/IP69 rating, and support for 50 W wireless and 80 W wired charging (130 W Ugreen Nexode 20K power bank curr. $59.99 on Amazon).
Before importing, though, it's worth noting that Oppo has already brought the non-s Find X8 and X8 Pro outside China. Now, while the X8 Ultra may not make it to the global market, the X8s series will likely make an international debut soon.
