Vivo is thought to update its premium mid-range S series of Android smartphones with 2 new variants, both of which are now tipped to have displays with a 1.5K resolution. However, one is thought to be 6.67 inches in diagonal length, while the other might be just 6.31 inches.
The former might be powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the latter just might be the world's first compact handset with the Dimensity 9400e platform.
It is thought to launch as the S30 Pro Mini, while the larger model might be the plain S30. Then again, both devices are thought to have the same 6,500mAh battery capacity and Sony IMX882-based periscope zoom lens.
Accordingly, the S30 Pro Mini might have the same display and rear zoom camera as the higher-end X200 Pro Mini (now starting at €697 in Europe via TradingShenzhen). It is also now backed to have a frame made of metal, while the S30 might not.
