Following a report in April that Vivo was developing a new model in the Vivo X200 series called the Vivo X200 FE, a fresh leak has spilled the complete specifications as well as details of the release date of the upcoming compact flagship. The source of the leak is Yogesh Brar and he has partnered with Smartprix to reveal the key specs of the Vivo X200 FE which are said to be based on the approved version for mass production.
The Vivo X200 FE will have a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The chipset powering the phone is MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+, but the source says there's a possibility Vivo swaps out that chipset for the unreleased Dimensity 9400e which is a tuned version of the Dimensity 9300+. Vivo will launch the X200 FE in two variants — a 12GB RAM option with 256GB of storage and a 16GB RAM variant with 512GB of storage.
The Vivo X200 FE will have a 50MP Sony IMX921 as its primary rear camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera. The phone will have another 50MP sensor as its front-facing camera. Like the other X200 series smartphones, this will have Zeiss branding, too.
The source also mentions the X200 FE will have an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating, a 6,500mAh battery, and support for 90W fast charging. It should launch with Android 15 out of the box and receive three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
The Vivo X200 FE is reported to be scheduled for release in India in July and will be available in two colors. It is expected to have a price tag that falls between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000. There's no report of the phone being available outside of India like the upcoming OnePlus 13s. Buyers in other regions who want a compact Android flagship phone will have to make do with the Galaxy S25 or Pixel 9 Pro (curr. available on Amazon for $799).
