The Nubia Z70S Ultra was announced in China in April followed by an announcement that a global launch will follow in late May. However, it also revealed that pre-orders will open today, May 13. Now that the pre-order is live, we now know how much the device costs.
The international version of the Nubia Z70S Ultra will be available in only two variants — 12GB RAM with 256GB of storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB of storage. The 24GB RAM and 1TB variants will remain exclusive to China. The phone will also be available in Classic Black and Antique Brown.
In the UK, the Nubia Z70S Ultra starts at £659 for the base model while the 16GB RAM version costs £769. Those in Europe will be able to get their hands on the Nubia flagship for €769 for the 12GB RAM variant and €869 for the 16GB RAM variant.
Interested buyers in the US will be able to order the Nubia Z70S Ultra for $779 for the base model with 12GB of RAM while the 16GB RAM variant will sell for $869. That price almost matches that of last year's Nubia Z70 Ultra which is currently available on Amazon for $769. Those outside the US will be able to get the Z70S Ultra for slightly less at $749 and $849 respectively. The Retro Kit that transforms the Nubia Z70S Ultra into a camera isn't available yet but Nubia has said it is coming soon.
Depending on the region, buyers will be able to save either $40, €40, or £40 when you pre-order between now and May 28 when it will go on open sale. Those who pre-order also get a free charger as the phone doesn't come with one in the box. They also get a free phone case and a 180-day one time replacement.
The Nubia Z70S Ultra is a flagship phone with a 6.85-inch AMOLED display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 16MP under-display camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, has a 6,600mAh battery that charges at 80W. It also has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera.
