Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Xiaomi 15 Ultra competitor becomes available globally via import

Oppo has made the Find X8 Ultra official in China, and given that the predecessor stayed exclusive to the Chinese market, it's very likely that this Xiaomi 15 Ultra competitor won't officially make it to the global market. However, for those who are okay with importing, the Snapdragon 8 Elite camera flagship is already available to international buyers on Giztop.

The pricing is decent as well, with the base configuration featuring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costing $999 on Giztop. In comparison, the same config goes for CNY 6,499 in China, which is about $889. There are two other variants available on Giztop, and the top-end option, which features 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, costs $1,299.

It's worth noting that Giztop is offering the Chinese edition of the Find X8 Ultra. That means certain functions like Android Auto and some banking apps may not run or work smoothly on the device. The good part is that Giztop assures the full functionality of Google Mobile Service and Google Play Store.

Regarding the phone, as we have noted in a separate coverage, Oppo is marketing the Find X8 Ultra as a camera flagship. It sports a quad 50 MP camera setup on the back, with a 3x and a 6x periscope lens. Under the hood, the smartphone features the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and on the front, there's a 6.80-inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate.
