Honor continues to post cryptic teasers about the so-called 'Honor Power' ahead of the device's release on April 15. Officially, the company has revealed hardly anything about the device apart from making vague marketing claims like it is 'unimaginable', 'unprecedented' or 'so beautiful and so strong'. However, Digital Chat Station has been filling in the gaps with hints about what the smartphone could have in store when it debuts later this month.
Now, the same leaker has shared various specifications about the handset, which they claim will launch as the Honor Power. Perhaps the least exciting element of the Honor Power will be its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which we have already put through its paces in the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and HTC U24 Pro (curr. $659.99 on Amazon). Although not the fastest chipset around, it seems that Honor is targeting battery runtimes with the Power.
To that extent, Digital Chat Station alleges that the device will feature an 8,000 mAh battery aided by 80 W wired charging. The Honor Power is also said to contain a 1.5K LTPS OLED display that measures 6.78-inches diagonally. In other words, while the device will not support variable refresh rates, it will deliver a resolution beyond 1200p.
Moreover, the Honor Power will sport a C1+ communication chip that will provide satellite messaging and advanced location services. Based on the image above, it appears that the Honor Power will feature two or three rear-facing cameras, too. Unfortunately, the full design of the Honor Power remains unknown though, as does availability outside China.
