There have been speculations of a new trailer for GTA 6 coming in the near future, based on when Take-Two decides to hold its earnings call. The company has finally confirmed a date, so we may get to see some fresh news about the game very soon.

Arguably the most hyped game ever, GTA 6 is yet to receive an update after the last delay news from Rockstar in November last year. Fans have been waiting for the third trailer before the game finally launches in November this year. Speculations suggested that the trailer would arrive just before the next earnings call, and we now have a date for said earnings call.

Take-Two has announced that its next earnings call will be held on May 21 after the market closes. This call will discuss financial results for the fourth quarter of FY2026, which for Take-Two ended on March 31. It is being theorized that the next trailer for GTA 6 will be released before the earnings call, exactly how soon before it, remains to be seen. Adding to this theory is that Take-Two is holding this call a bit later than usual, which could be because it’s finalizing the third trailer or possibly adjusting to the recent data breach.

Leakers like GameRoll also suspect that the next trailer or fresh GTA 6 news will be shared before the earnings call. Fans are also cautious, though, as Rockstar has previously announced delays just before its earnings calls, as well.

The second trailer for GTA 6 came out on May 6 last year, so a third trailer exactly a year later could be what Rockstar is going for. That would also put it just over two weeks before the earnings call, where it could become another prominent milestone to talk about. That being said, the second trailer came out about a year and a half after the first one, so only time will tell if these theoretical timelines actually come to fruition.
