Citizen unveils a new “Autumn Light” limited-edition automatic watch with an open-heart design

In the Northern Hemisphere, the beautiful season of autumn arrives a bit late, usually spanning from the start of September right through to November. Citizen Thailand is capturing that seasonal transition with a striking new regional exclusive with the launch of the Citizen Thailand Limited Edition "Autumn Light" NH9133-01X.
The overall design of the watch leans into warm, earthy aesthetics to perfectly reflect the shifting seasons. You get a brown fumé dial that reveals different shades and flashes depending on your viewing angle and the ambient lighting, much like natural sunlight changing dynamically throughout the day. This gradient dial is paired with elegant rose-gold Roman numerals and housed in a pink gold 40mm stainless steel case. A classic dark brown calf leather band completes the autumnal look.
As you can see in the attached images, an "Open Heart" skeleton cut-out at 6 o’clock prominently dominates the lower dial, showing off the 8229 automatic calibre ticking inside, with the transparent case back offering another view of the movement. The watch measures 10.7mm thick, features a durable sapphire glass crystal, and offers standard 5 bar or 50 meters of water resistance.
Citizen's official product page doesn't mention power reserve or accuracy figures, but the Miyota 8229 automatic movement is known to offer up to 42 hours of power reserve and -20 to +40 seconds per day accuracy, along with support for both automatic and manual winding.
Photos shared by Citizen Thailand show that the watch ships in a special presentation box featuring golden sunlight filtering through orange autumn leaves. However, actually getting your hands on this limited edition will be tough. The Citizen "Autumn Light" limited edition NH9133-01X is exclusive to Thailand and is limited to 300 individually numbered pieces. It’s priced at ฿14,900 (~$446).
