Citizen unveils four new titanium radio-controlled chronographs with sapphire, textured dials

Citizen Europe has launched four new radio-controlled chronographs. The AT8390-55E, AT8391-52H, AT8396-59L and AT8398-53X all cost €695, and are listed on Citizen's German site as in stock, with delivery in one to three working days. @plus9time also flagged the four models on Instagram yesterday.

The dials are the easiest way to tell them apart. Each one gets a grid-patterned texture, in black, white, blue and green respectively. Every version uses the same case, though. It's Super Titanium, Citizen's hardened titanium, and measures 40.5 mm across and 10.42 mm thick. The bracelet is Super Titanium as well, and the whole watch weighs 89 g. There's a tachymeter scale on the outer bezel, alongside an inner ring of city codes for the world time function. The crystal is sapphire, and water resistance is rated at 10 bar.

The movement is Citizen's H804, an Eco-Drive caliber that has been around for a while. It picks up radio time signals in Europe, Japan, the US and China, and sets itself from them. Without a signal, Citizen rates it at ±15 seconds a month. The world time function covers 26 cities, and there's a perpetual calendar as well, which means the date won't need correcting.

The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1/20-second steps. You also get a 24-hour display, a power reserve indicator, a low-charge warning and an energy-saving mode. Citizen says the watch is antimagnetic too. A full charge lasts about 180 days, and stretches to 10 months with the power saver on.

All four are available to order now from Citizen Germany, alongside other Eurozone regions, where the listings carry a "New" badge. German coverage puts the series in Citizen's autumn 2026 collection. Citizen hasn't said whether the series will reach the US or the UK, and neither market lists it yet.
