Just recently, rumors revealed details about Apple's new TechWoven protective cases and the magnetic crossbody strap. Now, leaker Majin Bu Official has published the first images that purportedly show the design of the official Apple Clear Case for the iPhone 17 series. Compared to the Clear Case for the iPhone 16, there are three major changes.
Firstly, the opening for the cameras is significantly larger to make room for the expanded camera module. Secondly, the Clear Case is no longer completely transparent. Instead, the area beneath the camera module is white, at least in one variant. This is intended to center the Apple logo in this area, even though it will be placed lower than on the iPhone 16. However, the leaker suggests this change is only in the Clear Case for the two Pro models.
Thirdly, Apple is reportedly introducing a mounting point for a wrist strap and a crossbody strap. The Clear Case is said to support all features of the iPhone 17 Pro, including wireless charging, MagSafe, the action button, and a dedicated camera shutter. The case will reportedly be available for all four models in the series, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The silicone is said to be particularly thin, lightweight and a perfect fit. Thanks to a special coating, it won't turn yellow after extended use, as is the case with some silicone cases.
