The 1201T will be one of the three 1201 variant

The 1201N was first launched in China recently, without releasing any specs and release date. Now we know Asus will be releasing as many as three versions of the latest Eee PC. The 1201N featured an Atom processor and ION processor; the 1201HA will feature the slow Atom Z520 processor. But there is this third variant that has an interesting configuration.

The 12” Asus Eee PC 1201T will feature a dual core 1.6GHz AMD Neo MV40 processor and ATI RAdeon HD3200 graphics. This is to satisfy the hard-core AMD fans, which can diversify this netbook’s portfolio enough. This makes this netbook the best among all the variants in terms of better CPU and graphics performance, but which also means it’ll have reduced battery life – which for some may defeat the purpose of having a netbook.

Apart from these, The Eee PC 1201T will also feature the 1366 x 768 12.1 inch display panel, 2GB of RAM, 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1. Asus also throws in 3 USB ports, Ethernet, mic and headphone jacks, but no HDMI output. This 1.6kg machine measures 11.7″ x 8.2″ x 1.3″.
