Abernic has finally revealed how much its new controller, the RG G01, will cost. The manufacturer has also revealed a release date and a limited-time launch discount.

Anbernic kicked off 2026 with the launch of a new controller called the RG G01. While there isn't a shortage of controllers on the market, Anbernic's new wireless controller has some pretty interesting features that make it stand out, such as a display and a heart rate sensor. Now, it has announced how much the controller will cost and when it will be available.

The Anbernic RG G01 will be available to buy starting on February 7 at 2 AM PST, and it will cost just $39.99. Anbernic has also revealed it will offer buyers a $4 discount for the first three days, thus bringing the price down to $35.99.

The controller will be available in Black, Yellow, and White, and will ship with two additional high-rise thumbsticks, a 2.4G wireless receiver, and a USB-C cable for charging and wired gameplay. It will also include a free smartphone holder with all orders.

Anbernic has priced the RG G01 competitively, and its low price, in addition to its features gives it an advantage over rival controllers from brands such as 8BitDo and GameSir.

Described as a smart game controller, the Anbernic RG G01 has a 2.5D IPS display that serves a variety of functions. In addition to displaying a user's heart rate during gameplay, it also eliminates the need for an app to modify its settings, as features such as joystick and trigger calibration, key mapping, and input modes can be modified right on the controller.

In addition to the above, the Anbernic RG G01 features micro switch ABXY buttons, adjustable triggers, a 6-axis gyroscope, and a rotating D-Pad. It also has a removable faceplate, four back buttons which can be turned off with a switch, purple Kirin capacitive joysticks with wear-resistant rings, and a 2,100mAh battery that can last up to 21 hours on a single charge.

The Anbernic RG G01 connects via Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and USB-C and is compatible with Windows, SteamOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Android, and iOS.
