Nothing's upcoming earbuds will launch as the Ear (3a).
The Nothing Ear (3) will soon get a more affordable variant that will be sold as the Nothing Ear (3a). The earbuds will arrive in four colors and retain the launch price of the Nothing Ear (a), at least in France.

The Nothing Ear (3) earbuds (read our review) were released almost nine months ago, and just as the Nothing Headphones (1) have a more affordable variant in the form of the Headphone (a), a more pocket-friendly version of the flagship earbuds are on the way.

The new pair of earbuds are expected to debut as the Nothing Ear (3a) and have the model number B190, according to a report from earlier this month. Now, more details have surfaced, revealing the colors they will be available in and how much they will cost in one market in Europe.

According to Dealabs, the Nothing Ear (3a) will be released in four colors, one of which isn't available for the Nothing Ear (a). The colors are White, Black, Yellow, and Pink. Whether there would be more colors in the future remain to be seen, but it is a possibility considering the Nothing Ear (Open) recently launched in a new color eighteen months after the earbuds were first released.

The Nothing Ear (3a) will be cheaper than the Nothing Nothing Ear (3) (pictured).

The source has also revealed that the Nothing Ear (3a) will cost €99 in France. Since this is the same price that the Nothing Ear (a) cost at launch, we can presume the pricing for the other regions will remain the same — that means £79 in the UK and $99 in the US. However, until an official confirmation, these prices are just speculations.

Unfortunately, no technical details of the Nothing Ear (3a) have been revealed nor are there images of what the earbuds look like. Notwithstanding, we expect some improvements over the Nothing Ear (a) (available on Amazon for $79) in areas such as noise cancellation, audio quality, and battery life.
