Xiaomi releases new earbuds globally with lossless audio and Snapdragon Sound; cheaper confirmed pricing in Europe

Xiaomi has now officially launched its latest pair of earbuds globally. For context, the Buds 6 were introduced in China at the end of December 2025. Earlier this week, we spotted Xiaomi referencing the Buds 6 on several of its websites in the Eurozone.
To recap, the Buds 6 combine 11 mm drivers with up to 6 hours of battery life and 95 dB of noise cancellation. Also, the earbuds utilise Snapdragon Sound to support Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC, SBC, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless and LC3 codecs at up to 2.1 Mbps transmission speeds. Moreover, Xiaomi has clarified that the Buds 6 supports 2.1 Mbps lossless audio quality with the following devices:
- Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi
- Xiaomi 17 Ultra
- Xiaomi 17
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra
- Xiaomi MIX Flip
- Poco F7 Pro
- Poco F8 Ultra
The company promises to support more smartphones in future, albeit with expanding further. Surprisingly, the Buds 6 will reach parts of the Eurozone for €30 cheaper than Xiaomi's French and Spanish websites suggested, too. Those websites show a €149.99 list price at the time of publication, matching the AirPods 4 MSRP in the process (curr. $99 on Amazon).
By contrast, Xiaomi claims that the Buds 6 will be available for €119.99 instead. Currently, the company has not explained the price discrepancy, which seems unlikely to be down to regional tax differences. Please see Xiaomi's website for more details about its latest pair of high-end earbuds.
