Affordable mid-range smartphone with 50 MP tele camera: Nothing CMF Phone 3 Pro to launch in Q3

After the CMF Phone 2 Pro came onto the market in May 2025, Nothing is said to be taking a little longer than previously expected until the launch of the CMF Phone 3 Pro. According to the latest information from the leaker @Gadgetsdata the launch of the next-generation mid-range smartphone is planned for August or September. However, an even more affordable Nothing Phone is to be announced beforehand, although no further details are yet known.
The Nothing CMF Phone 3 Pro will according to earlier rumors receive several significant upgrades, led by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which will replace the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro of the previous model. This increases CPU performance by around 10 percent, but the four more modern ARM Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores should also enable lower power consumption. The battery will reportedly increase from 5,000 mAh to around 5,400 mAh, and fast charging will also be improved, supporting up to 45 watts in the new model.
As before, Nothing is said to feature a flat 120 Hz OLED display, stereo speakers, a 16 megapixel selfie camera and a triple rear camera. The latter is quite unusual for an affordable mid-range smartphone, as the CMF Phone 3 Pro is said to offer a 50 MP telephoto camera in addition to a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The leaker contradicts earlier rumors and states that the mid-range smartphone has a plastic frame instead of a metal one.
