CMF Clip Pro launch date confirmed; rumored to be clip-on earbuds

CMF by Nothing has locked in a release date for its next audio product. The brand's official X account first posted a teaser captioned "Not yet. But soon." on July 30, showing a rounded, single-body render in a copper finish with a perforated grille. That was followed by a second post directly confirming the product's name and launch date. Captioned "Clip Pro. 4 August," the post included a short video showing perforated grilles in white and coral colorways.
As covered previously, the teaser campaign began on July 27 with a Pokémon-themed post (Igglybuff), a pattern CMF and parent brand Nothing regularly use ahead of launches. Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis confirmed that the product marks a new category for CMF and later indicated that it was audio-related via a reply featuring a speaker emoji.
Rumored to be clip-on earbuds
X user Dr. Android (@Teknovist) was first to name the product, claiming the Clip Pro will be a pair of clip-on, open-ear earbuds similar to the Motorola Moto Buds Loop, which attach to the ear cartilage rather than sitting in or over the ear. CMF has not confirmed that claim.
CMF has not released pricing or full specifications. More details are expected closer to the August 4 date.
