Asus releases gaming soundbar with wireless subwoofer and Dolby Atmos

Asus introduced the ROG Gjallar in early July 2026, but at the unveiling, the company didn't share anything about the price and availability of the gaming soundbar. Now, the company has released the desktop speaker setup in China, and it's going for CNY 3,699, about $548.

Given that Asus has released it in China, the gaming soundbar should soon be available in the global market. It's also worth noting that there's already a dedicated page for the ROG Gjallar on the international site.

For those who missed our previous coverage, this gaming soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer, offering a 2.1.2-channel surround sound configuration. With support for Dolby Atmos, the ROG Gjallar is said to deliver a realistic 3D soundstage.

The company further highlights the compact form factor of the soundbar. It's claimed to be small enough to fit under monitors, and the ROG aesthetics are claimed to make the overall setup look sleeker (sleek-looking ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar curr. $199.99 on Amazon).

This desktop speaker setup is paired with an all-in-one control hub, which offers quick access to the EQ settings, RGB lighting, and the playback.
