Asus launches ROG Gjallar Gaming Soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and audio control hub

Alongside the ROG Raikiri 2 Pro controller and the ROG Godlike 27 Plus gaming monitor, Asus also announced the ROG Gjallar Gaming Soundbar. Although it's more of a gaming sound system, since it also includes a wireless subwoofer and an all-in-one audio control hub.
The soundbar has a compact form factor and should fit right under your monitor. Asus says it is equipped with left and right full-range speakers, two high-fidelity tweeters, and two upward-firing speakers which can be turned off, for an immersive 2.1.2 surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos.
For connectivity, the soundbar has an aux port, an optical audio port, a USB-C port, an HDMI 2.1 (eARC) port with support for 4K@120Hz pass-through, and Bluetooth 5.3 for multi-device integration. There are also two USB-A ports on the side as the soundbar as a built-in USB hub.
The all-in-one control hub, on the other hand, connects to the soundbar via a wired connection, allowing users to control volume and playback, switch between EQ profiles, and even adjust the RGB lighting on the soundbar. There's an LCD panel built into the knob that shows the audio status, and below it are physical buttons for switching between different input sources.
It also features Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) microphones which have a dedicated digital signal processor and can filter out the voices of your teammates and in-game sound.
The 6.5-inch 65W subwoofer, which is 35cm tall and 30cm long, has 5GHz wireless connectivity for low-latency audio. Asus says it delivers low-end frequencies, impactful bass, and a cinematic audio experience.
The ROG Gjallar is compatible with PC, Mac, and mobile devices, as well as PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles. Asus hasn't revealed details about pricing and availability.
