Nothing confirms Snapdragon chip for the upcoming Phone (4b)

Nothing has officially confirmed that its upcoming budget-friendly smartphone, the Phone (4b), will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The phone is set for a global launch on July 7, 11 AM BST.
The company teased the silicon partnership without revealing the exact model name; however, recent Geekbench listings suggest that the Snapdragon chip is the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. Although this processor sits slightly below the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 found in the pricier Phone (4a), it is expected to handle everyday multitasking effortlessly. Leaks indicate this chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB, all running on the clean, bloatware-free Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
Other rumored design details show that the Phone (4b) will still have the iconic transparent look fans have come to expect, with a cost-saving but durable plastic frame. Live photos have leaked out showing the handset in Blue, Black and White colorways with the Blue and Black variants sporting contrasting black accent buttons.
The front is rumored to be a large 6.7-inch Flexible AMOLED display with a silky 120Hz refresh rate. For the photography part, there will be a 50MP main lens with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP secondary sensor on the back, and for selfies, there is a 16MP front-facing camera.
Perhaps the most surprising rumored upgrade is the battery capacity. While earlier whispers suggested a standard cell, freshly leaked system images suggest the Phone (4b) could pack a massive 6,000mAh battery. If true, this would be the largest battery ever featured in a Nothing smartphone, pointing to exceptional multi-day endurance when combined with its expected 33W fast wired charging.
