Nothing Phone (4b) unveiled in video with brand-new design, leaker reveals specs

The Nothing Phone (4b) will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, July 7. The mid-range smartphone is set to be positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro ($509 on Amazon). In the teaser video embedded below, Nothing reveals the smartphone’s design for the first time, which significantly reduces the use of transparency compared to the Phone (4a).
At least the surface of the large, rectangular camera module is transparent. Nothing has incorporated a Glyph Bar with only five large LEDs instead of seven. As before, this LED bar is likely to indicate incoming messages and provide visual feedback for the camera’s self-timer. The Nothing Phone (4b) will be available in at least one blue variant. The smartphone features a flat plastic frame with black buttons and a display with relatively narrow bezels.
According to information from the leaker Yogesh Brar , the Nothing Phone (4b) will be available in three different colors and two storage configurations: either with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage, or with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Nothing is said to be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 , which features four ARM Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. In a benchmark leak , the smartphone has already come close to matching the performance of the Nothing Phone (4a).
Despite its lower price, Nothing is expected to include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 50-megapixel main camera; no details are yet available about the second rear camera. The battery ’s 5,400 mAh capacity is only average. All other details regarding the device’s specifications and price are expected to be confirmed by the launch on July 7 at the latest.
