A Geekbench listing for the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, identified by the Chinese model number M1544F, shows a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro with two cores running at 5.11GHz and an Adreno 850 GPU. The device scored 3,582 in single-core and 12,247 in multi-core on Geekbench 7, with 12GB of memory and Android 17 running HyperOS 4.

Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max yesterday, and Xiaomi is preparing an answer of its own. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has appeared on Geekbench under the Chinese model number M1544F, giving an early look at the processor and memory the company plans to put against Apple’s new flagships.

From the listing, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features Qualcomm's unreleased SM8975 chipset, tentatively named the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. The Geekbench entry details a powerful octa-core architecture for the new Snapdragon silicon. The configuration consists of three efficiency cores clocked at 3.74GHz, three performance cores at 4.03GHz, and two massive prime cores capable of reaching 5.11GHz.

Paired with an Adreno 850 GPU and 12GB of RAM, the hardware combination posted an impressive 3,582 points in the single-core test and a staggering 12,247 points in the multi-core test. Beyond raw processing power, the listing also sheds light on the graphical capabilities of Qualcomm's upcoming platform.

In Geekbench 7's GPU assessments, the Adreno 850 recorded 26,210 points in the OpenCL test and achieved an even higher 29,934 points in the Vulkan benchmark. While pre-release hardware scores are subject to software optimization and can fluctuate, these numbers indicate a substantial leap in graphical rendering capabilities for mobile gaming and on-device AI generation.

On the software front, the benchmark confirms the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will ship running Android 17 out of the box, which will naturally feature Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 4 skin overlay. With Qualcomm expected to officially unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series later this month, and rival flagships like the Vivo X500 Pro Max also making benchmarking rounds, Xiaomi appears perfectly positioned to challenge Apple's newest offerings in the premium large-screen segment.
