A Xiaomi tablet carrying the model number 2612CRPFFC has appeared on Geekbench running a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 12GB of memory, and Android 17, in a listing tied to the unannounced Pad 9 Pro. The device would sit below the Pad 9 Pro Max, which launched in China on 7 September with Xiaomi’s own Xring O3 processor and a 13.3-inch display.

Xiaomi recently launched the Pad 9 Pro Max with the company’s Xring O3 flagship processor. Now the smaller sibling has appeared on Geekbench carrying the model number 2612CRPFFC.

The tablet runs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, listed under Qualcomm’s SM8845P identifier with an octa-core layout that pairs two cores at 3.80GHz with six at 3.32GHz. Graphics duties fall to an Adreno 829, and the tested unit featured 12GB of RAM while running Android 17.

Results came in at 2,075 points in single-core and 8,750 in multi-core, both on Geekbench 7. However, the unit tested is an early sample, so final software and retail firmware will most definitely change the numbers. Geekbench 7 also uses a different scale than the version 6 figures most comparisons still rely on, which makes these scores unusable against familiar benchmarks.

The Pad 9 Pro is expected to feature a 12.5-inch LCD at 3.2K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, along with an 11,000mAh battery and 67W wired charging. That would represent a substantial jump over the Pad 8 Pro (curr. $642.50 on Amazon), which pairs an 11.2-inch display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite with a 9,200mAh cell.

Xiaomi reserves its own silicon for the top model, with the Pad 9 Pro Max carrying the Xring O3 alongside a 13.3-inch 3.4K display at 144Hz, a 12,000mAh battery, and 120W charging, priced from CNY 4,799 in China. The Pad 9 Pro takes Qualcomm’s flagship chip into a smaller and cheaper body, with a standard Pad 9 on an 11.2-inch panel expected to complete the lineup.

Xiaomi has confirmed neither the Pad 9 Pro nor its pricing. A model number appearing on Geekbench usually signals an announcement within weeks. The Pad 8 Pro reached global markets in February, which offers a rough guide to how long international buyers might wait.
