High-end Xiaomi tablet leak reveals 12.5-inch display and other key specs

Xiaomi previously confirmed that the flagship Pad 9 Pro Max will debut in September 2026. It will be powered by the company's in-house Xring O3 chipset. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 9 series is also expected to include the standard Pad 9 and the Pad 9 Pro.
Writing on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared key specifications of an upcoming Xiaomi tablet, expected to be the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro. According to the source, the tablet will feature a 12.5-inch LCD panel with a "3.2K" resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
It is also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. For context, it is a 3nm chipset that features eight Oryon CPU cores and an Adreno 829 GPU. Additionally, the tablet is tipped to pack an 11,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging.
For comparison, the current-generation Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (curr. $652.50 on Amazon) features an 11.2-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and packs a smaller 9,200mAh battery, although it supports the same 67W charging speed. At the time of writing, there is no official word on the standard Pad 9 and the Pad 9 Pro models.
