Xiaomi Pad 9 gets certified; will ship with a 45W adapter

The Xiaomi Pad 8 (read our review) is inching closer to its first anniversary, so it is no surprise that details of its successor have begun popping up online. Expected to launch as the Xiaomi Pad 9, a report says the upcoming tablet has been certified.
The Xiaomi Pad 9, which has the model number “M65BA”, has received the China Compulsory Certificate (3C). The certificate also revealed the tablet is being manufactured by Xi'an BYD Electronics Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of BYD that serves as an ODM (original design manufacturer) and manufacturing partner for major brands.
It has also been revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 9 will ship with a 45W fast charging adapter. That should be sufficient for the battery which is reported to have a 9,720mAh capacity, an upgrade over the 9,200mAh battery capacity of the Xiaomi Pad 8.
No new details have been revealed of the tablet which is expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi 18 series later this year. However, an earlier leak mentioned there will be a pro model. Both variants will have a Snapdragon processor with the standard model featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, while the pro model will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
Going by the differences between the Pad 8 and the Pad 8 Pro, we can also expect the Pad 9 Pro to have better cameras and support for faster charging.
