Xiaomi 18 Pro Max leak reveals Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and more details

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max was launched as a flagship smartphone in September 2025. The key highlights of the smartphone included a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a secondary display. Now, a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed details about a new device, expected to be the successor to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
The tipster did not reveal the exact name of the device, although some users in the comments section speculate it could be the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. According to the leak, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
For reference, Qualcomm is expected to launch two chipsets in its next-generation flagship series: the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. The latter is expected to be an octa-core processor based on TSMC's 2nm process. It may feature an A850 GPU and support LPDDR6 memory.
Furthermore, the leak indicates that the device will use a 6.9-inch flat screen. It may also feature symmetrical dual speakers and a large X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback. The tipster also hints at an upgraded ultra-wide lens. Previous leaks suggest a 200MP primary camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto zoom camera.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max may feature a battery greater than 7,000mAh (10K Iniu powerbank curr. $19.98 on Amazon). Do note that Xiaomi has not revealed any official details regarding the device, so take the above information with a pinch of salt.
