Techmaniacs claims to have obtained European pricing for the Xiaomi 14, shortly before the device's global introduction. For context, Xiaomi presented the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro almost four months ago in China. While the pair were the first smartphones to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, various competitors beat them to global releases, including the Galaxy S24 series.
However, Xiaomi announced last week that it had something Xiaomi 14 series-related to announce on February 25, adding that 'something grand is coming' as part of its '#LensToLegend' journey. Currently, the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the latter of which is has not presented in any markets yet. By contrast, the Xiaomi 14 Pro could remain a Chinese exclusive, details of which we have covered separately.
According to Techmaniacs, the Xiaomi 14 will start at €1,099 in Greece. Although a €100 uplift over the Xiaomi 13, different memory configurations render this comparison somewhat limited. Allegedly, Xiaomi will bring its latest compact flagship to market with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage more than the cheapest Xiaomi 13. Incidentally, Xiaomi only sold the Xiaomi 13 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in some markets, including the UK. Please see our Xiaomi 14 launch article for more hardware details.
