Honor Magic6 Pro: Smartphone with 180-MP telephoto lens and powerful SoC already available for direct import
TradingShenzhen is now offering the Honor Magic6 Pro in three storage variants. The base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is just under $965. This is the Chinese version, although according to the manufacturer, Google Play Service and the Play Store can be used without issue.
However, customers should be aware of potentially long shipping times, even more so due to the Chinese New Year. The enforceability of warranty rights is also a difficult topic. In short, a direct import should be carefully considered, especially since a global release of the Honor Magic6 Pro may take place quite soon.
The Honor Magic6 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, thus promising high performance. The 6.8-inch screen is curved at the edges and offers a resolution of 2800 x 1280. The refresh rate can be dynamically adjusted between 1 and 120 Hz, allowing games to be displayed particularly smoothly, while benefiting the battery life during the display of semi-static content.
The 5600 mAh battery can be recharged with up to 80 watts normally, while 66-watt wireless charging is still possible. The wide-angle camera has a resolution of 50 MP and comes with a flexible aperture and optical image stabilization. A 180-MP telephoto lens and a 50-MP ultra-wide-angle camera are also installed.
