Xiaomi 14 Ultra to debut before global launch with exclusive titanium and 1 TB of storage variant
Xiaomi seems set on bringing its next 'Ultra' branded smartphone to market next week globally, where it will arrive alongside the Xiaomi 14 on February 25. Incidentally, the company's Dutch and German subdivisions have effectively confirmed that only the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available outside China and not the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Also, European pricing for the Xiaomi 14 has surfaced today, details of which we have covered separately.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Xiaomi will release the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in its home market too, perhaps even earlier than February 25. Based on current expectations, Xiaomi is preparing to deliver the Xiaomi 14 Ultra on February 21 or February 22 in China. It is worth noting that the company has not officially commented on the release of a Xiaomi 13 Ultra follow-up yet. However, we would not be surprised if this was because of Lunar New Year, which lasts until February 17 this year.
In the meantime, a few other Xiaomi 14 Ultra-related details have emerged online. On the one hand, Digital Chat Station has implied that they already have the Xiaomi 14 Ultra on hand, evidence of which we have embedded below. While the leaker has not mentioned the device by name, the blurred device next to the Magic6 Pro matches the Xiaomi 14 Ultra's rumoured design and mirrors that of the current Xiaomi 13 Ultra. On the other hand, reports have surfaced of a titanium special edition model, with three memory configurations of up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage also planned.
