Pre-launch leaks all but end the chance of a Xiaomi 14 Pro global release

A few months ago, reports emerged that Xiaomi had decided against releasing the Xiaomi 14 Pro globally. For context, Xiaomi offers the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Pro outside its home market, with the Mi 11 Pro being the last of its 'Pro' flagships to remain a Chinese exclusive. However, all signs now point towards the Xiaomi 14 Pro suffering the same fate as the Mi 11 Pro.

On the one hand, there have been no recent sightings of the '23116PN5BG', which would have been the global counterpart to '23116PN5BC' the model number for the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Instead, the last appearance of 23116PN5BG occurred in June 2023. By contrast, it appears that Xiaomi has turned to '24030PN60G', the model number for the global version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which recently surfaced on Geekbench.

On the other hand, Xiaomi's Dutch and German subdivisions have strongly hinted at only the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro making their way to Europe. Additionally, Techmaniacs claims to have been informed of as much when receiving European pricing information about the Xiaomi 14. As a result, it seems that Xiaomi is leaving it up to third-party retailers like Trading Shenzhen to offer the Xiaomi 14 Pro to global audiences. Unfortunately, this comes with its own pitfalls, such as being comfortable using Chinese firmware or alternatives provided by the Xiaomi.EU community.
