Up to 67% more expensive: Here's how much MacBooks, iPads and Apple TV cost after Apple's major price hike

Apple had already announced a few days ago that the company would be raising prices due to the DRAM crisis. Now the first wave of these price increases has arrived. The iPhone and the Apple Watch have been spared for now, but not the Mac, the iPad, and the Apple TV. As we have already reported, the MacBook Neo ($589 on Amazon) with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD now costs $699, while the version with Touch ID and a 512 GB SSD costs as much as $799.
While the MacBook Neo is getting $100 more expensive, Apple is raising the price of the MacBook Air by $200, with prices now starting at $1,299 and $1,499, respectively, depending on screen size. The 14-inch MacBook Pro is $300 more expensive and now costs at least $1,999, while the price of the 16-inch MacBook Pro has risen by as much as $400 to 2,999. RAM and SSD upgrades also cost more now. These upgrades add up quickly – a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an Apple M5 Pro, 48 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB SSD now costs $3,799, for example.
