The TCL 2024 soundbar range has been revealed at CES 2024. There are four new models, all supporting Dolby Atmos: the S45H, the S55H, the Q75H and the Q85H. The range-topping Q85H is a 7.1.4 Channel soundbar with Ray-Danz Acoustic Wave-Guide Reflectors and smart features like Auto Room Calibration.
TCL has announced four models in its 2024 soundbar line-up. The new devices were unveiled alongside a range of TVs, including the massive 115-in QM8 model. The 2024 TCL soundbar range includes the S45H, the S55H, the Q75H and the Q85H. All models will support Dolby Atmos for an enhanced home cinema audio experience.
The cheaper S45H is a 2.0 channel soundbar, while the S55H is a 2.1 channel speaker. The difference is that the S45H has a built-in bass reflex port, and the S55H has a separate wireless subwoofer. Both models are compatible with DTS Virtual:X and have more features than their 2023 predecessors, like the S4210 2.1ch Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer. The new tools include Auto Room Calibration and TV as Center Channel Mode. The design has also been tweaked compared to the older soundbars.
The more premium Q75H is a 5.1.2 channel soundbar with a central channel speaker, tweeters, up-firing Dolby Atmos speakers and side surround elements. The gadget has the same feature set as the S-class models, adding Ray-Danz Acoustic Wave-Guide Reflectors to ensure the sound covers the entire width of your room. The Q85H is a 7.1.4 Channel soundbar, with extra wireless rear up-firing speakers. TCL has not announced the release timeframe and pricing for its 2024 S-class and Q-class soundbars.
